Completed October 2011, the engineer, procure, construct (EPC) Cobra Castor project is a facility for underground gas storage in an abandoned salt dome off the coast of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea. Kiewit provided engineering services, procurement services and construction of two jackets in Cadiz, Spain and the construction of a 2,000-ton topsides and 10,000-ton topsides in Ingleside, Texas.
